Rules

The on-line lottery will take place from February 1, 2021 to April 8, 2021, tickets can be purchased at any time between these dates at www.ckcharity5050.com.

The draw will take place at 1:00pm on April 8, 2021 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice.

All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.

Tickets are $10.00 for 10 tickets, $20.00 for 60 tickets and $50.00 for 200 tickets.

Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Bump Worldwide Inc.

After buying, patrons will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for the CK Charity 50/50.

The amount of the 50/50 will be on the www.ckcharity5050.com  website, and updated regularly on CK Charity 50/50, Chatham-Kent Hospice and Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation Chatham-Kent’s social media channels.

The winning number will be announced via a Facebook Live event on the CK Charity 50/50 page, as well as through posts on Instagram and Twitter pages (@ckcharity5050), posted on www.ckcharity5050.com

The winner may claim their prize by contacting Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation at: (519) 354-3113, or by email at: foundation@chathamkenthospice.com. The ticket may then be brought to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation located at 34 Wellington St E, Chatham, ON at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted online at www.ckcharity5050.com when ticket sales closed. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.

The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.

Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum $10,000 or 50% of the total sales for the CK Charity 50/50. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

If no winner comes forward the number will be announced repeatedly through local media, and posted on the event website and the CK Charity 50/50, Chatham-Kent Hospice and Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation Chatham-Kent’s social media channels.

In the event that no winner comes forward the unclaimed prize will be held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:

Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation and Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation Board of Directors, and Staff assisting in the conduct and management of the 50-50 event may not have any monetary interest ticket or entry, or have a chance to win a lottery prize in any way.

Any volunteer actively assisting in the conduct and management of the 50-50 event may not purchase a ticket for themselves. Volunteers who are not participating in an active role may purchase a ticket.

Tickets can be purchased as a gift on behalf of another individual. In a case where the personal information as submitted to Bump 50:50 is different from the payment information as submitted to Paysafe, it is the person listed as the customer in BUMP 50:50 system who is eligible for the draw.
